To create a group, click on the Fans tab in your account. Scroll down and click on the Create New Group button. Enter a name for the group and description (if desired) and select whether the group will be public or private (i.e. do you want fans to be able to see the group and have the option to opt-in when they join your list?). Private groups can be useful for organizing industry contacts such as Press, Promoters, and so forth.
You can also create a group while importing a list. To do this, click on the Fans tab and then Add/Import. After selecting your import method and uploading your list, click the Create New Group button and follow the same steps as before. Your new group will automatically be selected (along with Fans) as the destination for your import. You can select or unselect as many groups as you would like before finishing the import.
